Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme Bronze Award Course

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Bronze Award is the next level following Puppy Foundation on the Good Citizen Training Scheme.  The course is suitable for puppies and dogs from 8 months old who have ideally attended previous group training classes. If you have not attended puppy classes you can still take the Bronze Award but may be offered a pre-course assessment. Dogs should be able to demonstrate good basic skills, i.e. sit, down & stand plus reasonable loose lead walking and recall.  The course is intense and you will have homework – if your dog isn’t confident with the basics, you will struggle.

We do offer workshops for older dogs who would benefit from going back to basics. You can book this online but If you need any further information, please email here

COURSE INFORMATION:
  • The course consists of 5 one hour lessons plus the Assessment Test on Week 6.
  • The Assessment is carried out by a Good Citizen Scheme, Kennel Club Judge.
  • If you know you are unable to attend for the Test Date, please DO NOT book this course. We cannot offer alternative test dates.
  • Please DO NOT book this course if you have no intention of taking the test – this is unfair to the trainers and others on the course.
